[SN MIJ A067506] USED Fender Japan / Telecaster TL62B-80 3-Tone Sunburst [12]

We’ve just received a 1987 Fender Japan Telecaster Custom manufactured by Fujigen.
Its crisp, tight tone and lustrous midrange character are its main attractions, making it especially recommended for guitarists who focus on backing and rhythm guitar, as well as guitar-vocalists.

It features a 21-fret maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard and is equipped with two Japanese-made TL-VINTAGE pickups.

While the body material for models from that era was either alder or basswood, this particular instrument appears to be made of basswood.
There are numerous scratches and dents scattered throughout the body, and the hardware shows signs of tarnish.
There are some paint irregularities on the body top; it is possible that only the body was relacquered.
The pickup selector has been replaced and shows some signs of wear, but the instrument has been fully serviced and cleaned at our repair center, and playability is excellent.
