[SN CN608182] USED Fender Custom Shop / 1960 Stratocaster Olympic White [12]

A 1996 Custom Shop Stratocaster has arrived.
This 1960-spec Stratocaster features a striking matching headstock—likely a custom order from that era—that evokes the atmosphere of the Fender Custom Shop’s early days.

The alder body is joined to a bird’s-eye maple neck stamped by Fender’s legendary neck craftsman, Herbert Gastelum—a true legend who was brought back alongside Ms. Abigail Ibara for the founding of the Custom Shop.
The pickguard screws and saddle set screws have been replaced, and the cavity has been treated to ensure electrical conductivity.
The finish shows overall fading, and there are scratches, dents, a few small chips in the wood on the fingerboard, and some tarnish and rust on the metal parts.
The frets have been filed down and have about 7-bun of life remaining; the neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is adjustable.
The certificate of authenticity is missing.
