Unlike the True Historic Series, which sets an annual production limit, this is Gibson Custom’s flagship model—offering all the benefits of the True Historic Series while allowing customers to request factory-selected woods, custom colors, pickups, and hardware.
This particular guitar features premium, locally selected figured maple—a rarity for the 1958 model, which is typically made with a plain top—and is equipped with Custom Buckers.
There are a few scratches and dents throughout the body, cracks in the pickguard and jack plate, and the cherry finish on the back of the body and neck has faded slightly.
The frets have more than 70% of their original depth remaining, the neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is adjustable.
