[SN 52015] USED MOON / JJ-5 SUTOH MODEL Trans Red [12]

This is the signature model of Mitsuru Sudo, who rose to prominence as a key member during the mid-career period of THE SQUAR (now T-SQUARE), one of Japan’s leading fusion bands, and who continues to be known for his diverse activities, including as a backing musician for TRIX and The Gospelers.

It features an alder body with a maple neck and ebony fingerboard, and is equipped with original J-type pickups and an XTCT preamp.
Controls include two volume knobs and a 3-band EQ (with the midrange controlled by a trim pot inside the cavity).
The mini-switch functions as a volume bypass, allowing for quick tone changes during a performance.

It delivers a well-balanced output of tight, presence-filled bass, a midrange rich in harmonics, and crisp, focused treble; the Bartolini pickup and preamp—which, despite being active, offer a natural response—produce a clear, low-noise sound.
There are scattered fine scratches and dents throughout the body, and the hardware shows some tarnish.
Although it shows some signs of use, it has been fully serviced and cleaned at our repair center, and playability is excellent.
