[SN 21983078] USED GIBSON / 1950s LG-2 Original Vintage Sunburst [08]

The 1950s LG-2 from the 2023 Gibson Original Collection—featuring a compact size and rich sound—is now in stock!
This guitar combines a vintage look with exceptional craftsmanship.
The top features solid Sitka spruce with traditional scalloped X-bracing, while the back and sides are crafted from solid mahogany, producing a rich, resonant tone.
The mahogany neck features a round profile familiar to many players and is constructed with a compound dovetail joint secured with hide glue.
The rosewood fingerboard has 20 frets and is adorned with mother-of-pearl dot inlays.
The rectangular bridge, also made of rosewood, is equipped with a bone saddle and TUSQ bridge pins.
Other features, such as a bone nut, Grover tuners with white buttons, and a tortoiseshell-patterned teardrop pickguard, complete the authentic vintage look.

It also comes equipped with an L.R. Baggs VTC pickup system, making it a reliable companion for both studio work and live performances.

It’s in excellent condition with very few signs of use. There are minor hairline scratches and scuffs from use, as well as small, bubble-like imperfections on the top and back of the body.

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, and nut groove correction), and approximately 80–90% of the fret height remains. The truss rod has plenty of play in both directions and is currently in good working order.
