[SN SE90035] USED Fender USA / Artist Series Eric Clapton Stratocaster Black w/Lace Sensor Pickups [3.71 kg / Made in 1991] Fender [08]

Based on “Blackie”—the Stratocaster synonymous with Eric Clapton that he cherished as his main guitar until his retirement—this is the Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster Race Sensor.

It features an alder body, a soft V-shaped one-piece maple neck, three gold Race Sensor pickups, and is equipped with volume and TBX controls, as well as a 25 dB mid-boost circuit.

Thanks to the TBX controller and mid-boost circuit, this model offers a stable tone while providing the flexibility to handle both lead and chord work with ease. It is a guitar favored by many, not just fans, and is suitable for professional use.

The nut, frets, and strap pins have been replaced; the center click on the TBX control is slightly weak. There are signs of wear (such as discoloration, fading of the headstock logo, paint peeling along the sides of the fingerboard, dents and scratches, scuffs and playing marks, picking marks, a crack in the back panel, and tarnish, pitting, or rust on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic damage).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret leveling, buzz removal, pickup alignment correction, replacement of pickup height adjustment rubber, strap pin replacement, PG screw hole repair, and back panel screw hole repair). The frets are at a height that poses no problem for playing, and the truss rod has been checked up to 60° in both directions and is in good condition (slightly tight).
