[SN 23280039] USED GIBSON / 1950s J-45 Original Ebony with L.R. Baggs VTC [08]
It features an all-ebony (black) finish and a tortoiseshell large pickguard. This color remains popular even today!
The body is all-solid, with a Sitka spruce top and mahogany sides and back—the classic J-45 specifications.
It features scalloped X-bracing and a single-ring rosette. It has a straight saddle, and the Gibson-scale mahogany neck features a familiar round profile.
It features a set of three Kluson-style tuners and is equipped with an L.R. Baggs VTC pickup, allowing for volume and tone control via controls located at the edge of the soundhole.
The nitrocellulose lacquer finish (gloss) and glue-in dovetail neck joint are standard features.
Signs of use (including scratches on the pickguard, linear scratches on the top, and fine hairline cracks or scratches resulting from normal use, which are inherent to the lacquer finish).
A strap pin is already installed on the neck heel. The guitar was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, and nut groove correction), and approximately 60–70% of the fret height remains. The truss rod has sufficient play in both directions and is currently in good working order.
Condition Grade: B+: Some scratches are present, but the instrument is suitable for normal use.
