[SN 551067] USED FENDER / '70s Jazz Bass Natural MOD [06]

A '70s Jazz Bass has arrived!!
Based on the serial number and other component specifications, we’ve determined it was made in 1974.
It features an ash body and a maple neck and fingerboard—wood combinations popular on 70s Fender basses.
Although it’s a heavy instrument at 5 kg, combined with its solid neck, it delivers rich bass resonance and a crisp, clear sound.
The body has likely been refinished, and it shows dents, scratches, and weather checking consistent with its age.
The bridge fence screw holes have been filled, and there are traces of a finger rest that was added around the rear pickup.
There are sticker marks on the back of the headstock.
The pickguard was custom-made by an outside workshop, and the control knobs and strap pins have been replaced with locking types (without the strap-side parts).
The tuning peg for the 3rd string is bent, and string guides have been added for the 3rd and 2nd strings.
The pickups feature a gray bobbin on the front and a black bobbin on the rear; the dates on both are illegible. The strap pin has been replaced with a Schaller lock pin (gold).
The frets and nut have been replaced, the fingerboard has been refinished, and the neck is in good condition.
