[SN AE397] USED FENDER CUSTOM SHOP / 2002 Art Espaza 1962 Precision Bass 3-Color Sunburst [05]

A used guitar by Art Esparza—who worked alongside John English, Mark Kendrick, and others, and rose to the rank of senior builder under the guidance of JW BLACK—has just arrived.
This latest arrival is a 2002 model, hailing from what could be called the formative years of the Fender Custom Shop.

This is a standard 1962 Reissue model. The slab-jointed fingerboard is made of South American rosewood. The slightly lighter sunburst finish exudes a subtle charm reminiscent of the mid-1960s. Although more than 20 years have passed since its manufacture, it remains in exceptionally good condition. It plays well and has plenty of potential to serve as a ready-to-play instrument.

In addition to the certificate of authenticity, it comes complete with original accessories from that era, including a strap, cleaning cloth, and cable. A genuine tweed-style hard case is also included.
