One of the very first “The Rat” models, known as the “Fringe Logo,” has arrived!
It dates back to around 1978, and is known as the “Fringe Logo” because of its design, where the “T” in “RAT” has a fluttering, fringed look.
The center control is labeled “TONE” instead of “FILTER.”
It’s equipped with a National Semiconductor LM308N op-amp.
It covers everything from crunch to dirty distortion, and that dry, distinctive “The Rat” tone is truly one-of-a-kind.
